    Water heater control box review.

    I had my original one for 8 years, then it went wrong, so needed a replacement. I was delighted to find a replacement on eBay, exactly the same. It was so easy to change, just unplug and replug in the new water heater control box, being sensible to turn off the electric before doing this of course! I would recommend this product!😀 10/ 10 stars.

    Ideal Replacement

    Straight forward replacement for same brand timer fitted early 80s. No need to even switch backplate. Elderly mother more than pleased with hot water restored. Choose quartz over digital for ease of use given her age.

    East plug and play replacement for

    I just bought a new one to replace exactly the same model that has worked for over 28 years. All I had to do was unplug 5 internal wires from the old unit and plug in 5 wires into the old sockets from the new one and everything worked right away.

    Plug and play replacement

    Having had an economy 7 water heater timer for over thirty years without problems; when mine went wrong I was pleasantly surprised that the very same timer was still available. Exactly the same except for the colouration of the print on the front of the box. The mounting box is exactly the same and so are the front cover screws, so there is no need to tamper with the wiring. All that is needed is to disconnect the 5 wires which are numbered 1-5 and then plug in the new ones in the same order 1-5. the timer has to be set, but the instructions to do so are supplied and it is easy to do. re-screw on the front cover and you are good to go. A really good product, as said above the original unit lasted over thirty years so great value. I would highly recommend this timer.

    Simple replacement

    Just unscrew the old, pull of the tabs and replace with new!! My old one's boost stopped working a few years ago and why I don't know I couldn't find a replacement. When it finally stopped working I was expecting to need an electrician plus a big bill. No ordered this and two days later wife very happy 😊
