      They're what you need to get your curve.

      There's not really much to say about these bridge saddle shim; they do what you need them to do. They boost the saddles of your Floyd Rose-type bridge to help you get your individual string height right. Just make sure you know where your bridge is starting from. For instance, the Floyd Original comes shimmed for a 10 inch radius from the factory and is 12 inches un-shimmed. I was working with a GuitarFestish licensed Floyd. Their site said that the unit is made to Original Floyd specs, but I contacted them and found that its radius is 14 inches! Be sure!

      Good, could be better

      What you get: 12 Floyd Rose tremolo saddle shims, .005 in. thick What's good: • Outer dimensions match saddle blocks precisely. • Edges are clean, shims are flat. • .005" raises the saddles in very fine increments. Kind of a mixed blessing. I used 4 shims under a single saddle. I ended up using 10 of the 12 on a single guitar. What could be better: • Shims have holes positioned for the rearward screw hole in the bridge. But if you run the screw into the forward (toward the neck) hole, the end of the shim peeks out ahead of the saddle. If there was a second hole in the opposite end of the shim positioned for the forward hole, the shims would not be visible in either case.

      Saddle Shims

      I had to to adjust the bridge radius on an old OLP guitar. These were easy to install and I'm really happy with the results. Originally, I was looking to replace the tremolo but then I ran across these shims!

      Simple but effective

      These shims are perfect for dialing in your action. They're thin enough to stack if necessary and the bridge saddle set screw holds it in place, should have bought a set of these years ago!

      Perfect for setting saddle height

      Excellent product for setting saddle height. Just google for info on your neck's radius, and you will find how many of these you need to use on the E strings and A and B strings.
