This is the first under counter radio I’ve installed and used. Sounds ok, not booming, but better than a clock radio. Only downfall radio has no AM feature so can’t listen to my conservative talk shows on it. Display is kinda cheap as well, could’ve been made larger. For the price not bad. Installation is fairly simple, comes with a template.

Nice looking unit and easy to hang unfortunately the cd drawer is at the top of the player so I had to build a hanger to lower the unit so that the drawer could clear the bottom trim of the cabinet. A real pain in the neck. Player does not have an audio out plug for a headset. This would be acceptable except that the built in speakers have a very poor and tinny sound quality. Overall I would not purchase this unit again and I could not in good conscience recommend it to anyone else.

This machine can do some AMAZING things but the clock and buttons are VERY difficult to read! It picks up bluetooth extremely well and we are very happy with it but we cannot read the damn clock!!! The buttons have extremely tiny text and we will get used to it. I love it though, it's great to attach my phone and play what i want to play on it!

I had bought a cheaper player of similar design. The CD player lasted long enough to finish one CD. All the features on this player work as designed and it is a good replacement for a ten year old player that has seen better days. Controls are difficult to see in low light, but everything works.

I have 3 different CD players - and this is by far my favorite. The reason is because you can pause it and it holds the place as long as you want! It doesn't return to the first of the chapter or the first of disk, it holds the place where you paused. Even for days. It's also compact and fits nicely under my kitchen cabinet.

After reading all the neutral and negative reviews about this unit, and reading what seemed to be the few real reviews that were positive, I decided to try one. I DO NOT have the reception issues that others claim to have. Reception on my old unit sucked. This one, in the same location, has no issues. The clock is fairly easy to see, as well. For the price, I feel it was a very good deal.

Cd door sometimes doesn't close. Antenna is inside, so,when I placed the radio in center of,cabinet, I get poor reception. I have yet to,be able to program in set radio, stations. Machine allows 2 and then won't accept anymore.

Sound quality is ok. Not much in the way of bass. Not as good as the 20 year old Jenson it replaced. There are no presets, but the dial style tuning knob is easy to use. Mounting was a bit of a challenge. My cabinets have a 3/4 inch overhang. Easily solved with a trip to the scrap wood bin.

Sorry, AM/FM do not work on mine. Sound of a CD is very poor. Design is such that I had to add a piece of wood under the bottom of my upper cabinet so the CD drawer could even open, as my cabinets have a recessed bottom. Many modern cabinets are constructed in a similar fashion. Have returned the unit. Shipper handled his responsibilities well and I would certainly buy from them again.

This CD player/radio is easy to install and use except for the labels on the controls. If the letters were a different color they may be easier to read. The sound quality is good.
