Sorry for the rather late response but the item came in a giant shipping box with some great packing for protection, though I think the packing in the wheel's original box was done a bit too well as it was torn open in one of the corners which will need to be taped up. Still, I'm glad that the wheel itself wasn't damaged during the trip and I'm sure to enjoy it for quite some time once it's set up!

  • Good value for a mid-range graphics card

This graphics card is only slightly slower than an ATI 5770. The fan is actually quieter. Even though the card is longer, it fits better with the fan at the back of the card. With my old ATI 5770, it not only took up two slots, but the fan intake was mostly blocked by a PCI card two slots over. Now things run much cooler. I also like the Nvidia control panel much better than the ATI Catalyst software. This Nvidia card does not have HDMI out, but it works fine with two DVI outputs. I use a separate amp for sound, so I don't miss the HDMI at all, but keep that in mind if you want a card for a computer to hook up to a HD TV setup where you might want one HDMI cable to carry the picture and sound. Blue rays play perfectly with this Nvidia card.

  • You can't go wrong with EVGA gpu's.

I own 9 different evga gpu's currently. 4 of them are the GTS250. They run pretty much everything with ease, especially in sli. They don't produce near the heat of the more powerful gpu's. This can be a huge advantage in cases with poor ventilation or for a HTPC build. Also being only 9.5" in length helps in smaller cases where room is at a premium. They also only require 1 6pin pci-e power connector to operate. Evga's customer support and forums are second to none. I'd buy it again given the choice. I'm bidding on more of them right now as a matter of fact!

  • Very powerful video card and very affordable

Excellent video card, I have 2, each in their own computer and they both perform flawlessly. Very powerful, make sure you have a good power supply, 500 watts from a quality brand because the nature of any once-TOTL (Top of The Line) video card is they consume about 250 watts all by themselves. Considering you can find these at a GREAT price on Ebay ITS A BARGAIN! They play World of Tanks, Star Wars The Old Republic, Starcraft II, and much much more. Be sure to grab the latest drivers.

  • GTS 250

Overall an excellent product, the GTS 250 delivers the performance of the 9800 GTX+ in a smaller form factor that requires less power to run. SLI 2 or more of these cards and there is no game they can't play on full settings (as of 2009). As an SLI enthusiast, I decided to go with dual GTS 250's because, for their price, they are the best performance cards to SLI on a budget. ~::~ above opinion based on my research, not to be taken as fact. There is no substitute for personal research :-P ~::~

  • Great budget gaming card

About the best performance you can get in a sub 100$ pci-e card. Not going to run the newest games at max rez full detail, but on lower settings it will run them plenty fast to have a good gaming experience. I replaced an EVGA 8600GTS with this card and my HL2 lost coast demo on max rez 4x AA went from 9fps to 45fps. Again not the latest and greatest, but a very good performer and an awesome value. It's a full length 2 bay card. MAKE SURE IT WILL FIT IN YOUR CASE!
