I did not realize it was a multi-layered case with a hard plastic inner case and a rubber-esc outer case. I've never liked these types of cases because the hard inner case is frustrating to remove and put back on and the outer case loosens and warps over time. i also do not want to have to stick it in boiling water every couple of months to reshape the outer case.
