I was excited to get this one as it has two lights so I could use one to light up the face and use the other as a hair/background light. BUT! when I received it I was not happy with it's performance. It takes 4 AA batteries but yet the power output is not there, my older 1960's flashes put out more power. They're ZERO manual controls, you can't even select which of the lights to fire. They both fire all the time. The charge noise is way too quite, I prefer mine to be audible to actually hear if they're charging. To control the flash output there's no settings so you need to move it back or forward to control it. The feel is another thing, it feels too cheap. It'll probably break if I ever drop it on accident. I only paid $6 for it but I wish I hadn't The only good thing on it is that it has a bounce head.Read full review
I use this flash for my Nishika N8000 3-D camera. When not in my studio and doing quick demo 'regular' 3-D photos (usually as a pre-studio appointment) this flash is versatile and eliminates the shadow behind the subject by bouncing light off the ceiling. I don't have to carry extra equipment this way, and the results usually sell the job.
I havbe only used the flash for a short time but am pleased with the performance and overall design.
