Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2019 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 2,0, Universitat Salzburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die folgende Seminararbeit beschaftigt sich genauer mit dem Adoleszenzroman im 21. Jahrhundert. Den Ausgangspunkt stellt dabei die Gattung der Kinder- und Jugendliteratur dar, auf deren Definition und Entwicklung im zweiten Kapitel eingegangen wird. Ausgehend von der realistischen Kinder- und Jugendliteratur zu Beginn der Jahrhundertwende soll anschliessend die problemorientierte Kinder- und Jugendliteratur der 1970er Jahre thematisiert werden. Kapitel 3 setzt sich vermehrt mit dem Modell des Adoleszenzromans auseinander und soll dessen Charakteristika und moegliche UEberschneidungen mit anderen Gattungen bzw. Genres klaren. Den analytischen Schwerpunkt soll jedoch die Gegenuberstellung zweier paradigmatischer Leitlinien des Adoleszenzromans darstellen. Als erste Leitlinie fungieren dabei die Adoleszenzromane zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts, worunter auch die Schulerzahlungen bzw. Schulromane fallen, wofur ich als Primarliteratur Hermann Hesses Unterm Rad (1906) heranziehen werde. Dem gegenuber wird der postmoderne Adoleszenzroman gegenubergestellt, der sich aus der problemorientierten Kinder- und Jugendliteratur der 1970er Jahre, auch bekannt als Kinder- und Jungendliteratur der Zweiten Moderne, herausgebildet hat und letztendlich in den 1990er Jahren seine Verwirklichung fand. Als Primarwerk dient Paulus Hochgatterers Roman Wildwasser. Gestutzt werden die Analysen unter Bezugnahme einschlagiger theoretischer Literatur. Das Ergebnis dieser Entgegenstellung soll einerseits die Merkmale verdeutlichen, aber auch zeigen, inwiefern die Autoren neue Paradigmen der Kinder- und Jugendliteratur entwickelten und dabei die zeitliche Ebene berucksichtigt wurde. Im Verlauf dieser Seminararbeit soll letztendlich folgende Forschungsfrage geklart werden: Welche Merkmale zeichnen diese beiden Werke als Adoleszenzromane aus und inwief
