    Trailer coupling lock

    It is very easy to remove from the coupling when it is considered to be locked. I just had to unscrew the tow ball adjuster on the coupling and the Trojan locking device is then able to be removed with ease, for all intention purposes it appears to be still fully locked but it is now off the trailer tow coupling and I just have to put the adjuster screw back in and the trailer is ready for towing away either by an unauthorized person or the owner who has lost the key to the padlock. I am about to modify this unit to make it theft proof. I is very well made but misses the point.

    Well designed and good value

    Design is great and seems to fit my trailer coupling well. That said, it's only been a couple of weeks since I fitted this to a trailer that resides in the elements. My only concern is that it's not galvanised, but simply zinc electo-coated so corrosion could be an issue. That said, when you factor in the design, delivery, padlock supplied and postage, I reckon this has to be excellent value for money and gives me peace of mind that my trailer is now relatively secure.

    Very Solid and great protection for my boat trailer

    This product is well built with great weld quality. Can be used whether the trailer is attached or not attached to a vehicle. Lock that was include is of sufficient quality to get the job done. Device is designed in such a way that the bolt of the lock cannot be reached with bolt cutters.
