Adequate.
It’s the fastest way I’ve ever experienced scraping paint. However, even though it’s attached to a powerful angle grinder, it takes a certain light touch and firm guidance to make sure you don’t gouge into the wood, which is very easy to do. Also, be very careful with what it comes in contact with. The blades can shoot out at high velocity.
