    Best fit for me and the price is really very good

    I have bought the Striker 4 bundle and do like all of it's abilities. I am new to a fish finder but after hours and hours of reviews and reading and comparing fish finders in general I found the Striker 4 to be a perfect fit for the ice and for the boat. I have not used the Striker much since I have only had it a short 2 weeks but I can say I am already impressed with the Dual beam transponder. On the ice it works great for ice fishing as I am still learning the ropes. I have to say the directions for installation are not very well as to how to assemble it with the bag. Also there are no owners manual to refer to for how to use it in general??? I will have to go online and download the manual which is OK but for what you pay why should you have to use your own ink and paper for a manual ...

    Nice Unit

    It's very intuitive and simple operation compared when with other companies. The images are crisp and easy to read. One thing buyers should note is that this unit neither comes with maps nor can you add them later. It does have a gps system in which you can mark waypoints etc... If you want a simple inexpensive sonar, this is a great one.

    Garmin is tops

    Got this Garmin for ice fishing. Everyone told me to buy a Vexlar flasher but I did not want to spend that much on something I might only use a couple of times per year. This Garmin has a flasher mode built in as well as standard scrolling screen so I figured dual purpose. I’ve only been able to use it twice now ice fishing in flasher mode and I’m extremely happy with it. Works just as well as my sons Vexlar albeit slightly smaller screen but will serve a dual purpose as I will also use it when canoeing on the lake fishing

    The total package for portable fish finders.

    Garmin knocked it out of the park with this model. I'm sure much more expensive flashers have features that may or may not be better than this package deal. Having used this side by side with a Vexilar, I don't know what though. I bought this unit, because I am a solo fisherman. I fish from a kayak in the summer, and fish in the winter whenever we have enough ice to support people. This unit does it all. The price and features really make this unit UNBEATABLE.
