This game has a great concept to it: an RPG that relies heavily on strategy. It reminds me of Final Fantasy III for the DS, but unfortunately, it's not nearly as good. The game play is redundant, since all you ever really do is fight to make the less-than-remarkable plot line progress. There are no mini-games to take your mind off of quests for a while. The closest thing that the game offers to a mini-game is the Digimon Farm, which reminds me of the Tamagotchi's from my childhood where you take care of the cute little creature by feeding and caring for it. I would say that this game is just average, because of its lack of a good plot and mini-games, but the strategy-based battles and the Digimon collecting aspect make it somewhat interesting. I would recommend this game for teenage gamers instead of children, since the dungeons that make up the quests are fairly complex and confusing. If I could give it stars, it would be 3 out of 5.Read full review
It's exactly as I remember! I love being able to get all different kinds of Digimon and training them to be the best they can and seeing all the different routes of digivolution. If I had one criticism it's that for some reason Fan favorite digi armor digivolutions are not available but some of the more obscure ones are. And while that's neat I really wish we had either the full roster to choose from or at least a better selection. It's one of the better pick up and play style rpgs allowing you to save on the map just about anywhere and the digifarm and having up to 6 digimon 3 in party and 3 in reserve really help to cut down on grinding. It's not much but anything is still better than nothing. Overall if you're a fan of the Digimon franchise you'll find it a great game to play simply because it has some awesome animations and walking around with your digimon really helps to drive home the feeling of power you get from constantly battling digivolving and degenerating your digimon to get better stats. You see them as in training, rookie, champion, ultimate and mega and you get this sense of really becoming a better tamer as time passes.Read full review
the good,It's like pokemon, but better! the gameplay is simple and so is the leveling in the game. There's every digimon imaginable in the game! any one of them from any season is in there! and with dusk you can get even rarer digimon! the only bad thing is the game dosen't really explain the digifarm in the game but it's easy to learn.
Digimon World Dawn is the spear counterpart to Digimon World Dusk, but that doesn't mean it is just a copy and paste game. This game is actually harder than Dusk because it starts you off with battles and no chance to grind, and the beginning dungeon has much higher levels than dusk. I bought this game because to get some rare digimon you have to match digimon that are exclusive to each version, and it has a bonus of giving you strong digimon before you can normally get them. I love the challenge this game gives you, the freedom given in how you build your team, and the hours of fun to be had with the quests. But this game did take some steps back from Digimon World DS' farm customization; now you can no longer put any eight farm items they now have a size limit, and the farm no longer produces its own food so you know have to put in food items. The digimon customization was changed as well before a digimon moves were set but you could change abilities, and now its reversed digimon have set abilities for their stage but can have any moves from any digivolution. In the end this game is great if you love digimon and love a game with challenges that last into the post game.Read full review

Digimon World Dawn/Dusk and the Digimon Rumble Arena series are by far the best games of the franchise. In this you can use a great range of Digimon; there's even a lot of Megas, some very unusual. AND that's a game that you will need at least 80(!) hours to just complete the main mission.
I love this game, i think it's great

This product I fell in love with the minute I received it. It was an adventure and a stragedy in one game. The gameplay although a bit repetetive does make you think what you need to bring and figure out what you need for your digimon to digivolve. It's a great game and I recommend it for any die-hard digimon fan.
Very time consuming fun game
