Solid, quality feel and appearance
The mechanism is a bit different than the Kwickset handles I am used to, but the result is a cleaner look with no glaring holes, like many sets have. It fit right into the slot of my old Kwickset, but the striker was square and not rounded, like the Quickset. A little bit of chiseling and it fit. The depth is adjustable by rotating an inside piece. The instructions sent with the handle seemed to be for a different, but similar model. They worked well enough for me to figure out how to install and remove it. I like the bent-back end, because that prevents anyone from running into the wrong end of the handle or snagging something (it can still happen, just less likely). The mechanism is quieter than the old Kwickset, smoother and easier to operate. Still, the inside spring feels strong ... Its a tough surface and, so far, I don't think I'll ever find out if its just plated or not, cause nothing seems to scratch it.

Would not recommend
Purchase a couple days ago and finally got it installed. Sometimes it’s hard to unlock it. Had to replace one from Home Depot would not recommend it.
