    Good

    Probably won't have every plant you want to ID, may have to consult multiple sources, but the plants it does have have a nice treatment with one page of color photos for every plant and text on the opposite page. Don't expect to learn anything about the plants though, and if you are looking on using them you will have to search them online or another thing like a field guide on edible plants

    Invaluable Reference

    This is a reference book. Most complete reference I know of for identifying weeds of the northeastern U.S. It includes sections on many woody plants and hardwood seedlings which may be confused with weeds. Includes common name, general description, propagation/phenology, seedling, mature plant, roots & underground structure, flowers & fruit, postsenescence characteristics, habitat, distribution, and similar species. It is probably more information than a gardener would need. I purchased for ecology/habitat preservation and restoration.

    The definitive book for serious gardeners

    If you want to be able to ID weeds from start to finish, this is the book for you. From pictures of seedlings to seeds with great descriptions as well. I highly recommend it.
