Arguably the best game in the Mana series. I bought this copy sealed, but speaking from previous experience, it is worth playing should you get the opportunity. There are dozens of quests, the battle system is engaging and the choices you make actually do matter. Brings me way back to when video games were about just having fun. 4.5 out of 5 stars all the way.

While I've always loved video games this was my very first RPG and none has lived up to it. In this game you're character is not following any particular story lines which makes the game a lot more different. There are many choices and story lines you can follow or choose not to follow. Despite it's age, the graphics are wonderful, and are comparable to manga artwork. It has a battle system that is simple yet entertaining and leaves you wanting more. It is no wonder why the prices of this product haven't gone down since the releases of new game systems. A classic game I wouldn't give up and despite newer games of the series, it is still unmatched. This game is for anyone who enjoys Japanese RPGs, or even just Japanese animation as the game graphics are just like an anime. I bought this game because when I was younger I didn't have the money to actually purchase it and ended up renting it from block buster's all the time, and now I would like to enjoy it again.Read full review
This version of Legend Of Mana has very detailed miniatures. The box it comes in is in great condition and keeps the minis safe. Can’t play the game because on my ps1 yet it’s the Japanese version so I’ll edit this review once I’ve played it.

I absolutely love this game with its hand drawn animation and compelling story arch’s that make this an instant PSX classic among the RPG genre. I’m so glad to have picked this up even if it is a little above average on price compared to pricecharting.com.

I love this game. This is the 2nd best games in the series and one of my top 10 rpgs of all time. Its not as good as the SNES original but thats hard to expect of any game. It continues with the ability to do co op play with a friend along with the ability to have an extra NPC monster that fights along side with you for extra help. The customization options for weapons and armor is huge since you get all sorts of material to enhance and upgrade weapons from fallen enemies and from miners. you also have your own garden to grow crops for other enhancements as well. The game is rather short though but there is alot of side stories and different ending and scenes you can see based on the decisions you make in the game. I recommend this game to any Mana fan and rpg fan.
I'd been recommended this game multiple times over the years, first playing a snipet on an emulator and finally purchasing the game for myself. It's a truly remarkable game with a simple but effective and enjoyable combat system. The game play is exciting and the manner of progressing through the game is so clever and cute that it really makes you want to work for those next areas and that's just icing on the cake. If you like a lot of the playstation games, especially around the late 90's era, you just might love this game. You start by choosing from a female or male character as well as the weapon they use(although you are not limited to this weapon) and begin with only having access to your home area. In no time, however, you begin collecting 'artifacts' that open up new areas to play and complete quests in. There are multiple story lines to follow, introducing you to numerous colorful characters through the game. I haven't finished it yet but from what I've seen, it's a delightful little game worth the purchase.Read full review
For the past 10 years, I have been an avid fan of this under-rated RPG. I can't seem to put my finger on it, but something about this game keeps me barred on the video games released today. It seems that I have yet to find a game to surpass Legend of Mana. It really is a work of art, a thing of beauty. There are so many little details in this game, from the breathtaking hand drawn locals, to the AMAZING soundtrack. In fact, the first thing I noticed about this game, was the music. I can't stress it enough, how amazing Yoko Shimomura is, and what a gem this soundtrack is. Buy this game in any way possible, and if not, at least check out the soundtrack, I'm doing you a favor with this recommendation...Full character customization, weapon smithing, golem building, Instrument construction, Farming for produce, Pet raising, Engaging stories/quests, and so much more! Need I mention anything else? This game is before it's time, developers today should learn a thing or two from Legend of Mana.Read full review
This is one of my favorite Playstation games of all time. It didn't hit big save for the hardcore SquareSoft fans, but it was pure gold! Choose a male of female character, then choose your weapon specialty (ie. sword, knife, HAMMER!!). Your character grows and learns abilities specified per weapon. Better yet, if you have a friend that plays, you can bring his/her character along in your adventure to benefit both players as the weapon system allows them to learn from each other! To round it off, you can even enlist a non-playable monster companion to aid you in battle. Monsters range from a cute rabbit, to a menacing dragon! Excellent game and hours upon hours of gameplay! Fan of the Mana series? This is the one for you!
I was so excited to get this game again as I had played it a lot in my childhood, the characters are interesting and sweetand the old nostalgic graphics are amazing, the storyline is one of the best you'll ever find and I have to say this game is a golden gem. now that I have this game again I don't plan to ever let it go, the gameplay is so fantastic that you'll be able to play it again and again.

Legend of Mana was created by the same people who produced the Final Fantasy series. This is a fun game for all those people who like co-op. I do not like to play against people because that leaves them out of winning, so when I can play together with someone it makes me feel better. This game has many different avenues to explore and it basically leaves it up to the player to determine how it will go. I haven't finished it yet but I really enjoy playing it. Even if you don't play co-op you can raise a monster to be your ally and he will fight with you. The only con of this game are the graphics. For a playstation game the graphics should have been better, this almost looks like it should have been a SNES game. Aside from that it has a 2D screen so it isn't very confusing at least. All in all a good game that is fairly rare, the price should only increase if you don't degenerate the cost you buy it at.Read full review
