Rare original embossed boards are worn with tears on spine and edges, see photos for exact marks. It appears that someone outlined the eyebrows, hairline and chin tatoo with a colored pencil or pen (visible with magnifying glass). Most pages have some foxing, first few pages have more foxing and/or soiling. End papers are soiled and there is period writing on two blank pages at front. Large spots on title page, a few edge tears, all illustrations present. Partial split at rear gutter. Book is in fair condition due to heavy foxing but solid. See photos; more available upon request.”
