    Great features and definitely worth the price

    Bought this Multi Tool to replace a cheaper big box brand that had recently died after a couple of years with minimal use. The difference in quality and features with the new Dewalt are amazing. The Dewalt has a trigger that lets you control the speed of the blade (not just off and on) and a quick release blade system with no allen wrench required. It also has a light that actually lights up the area where you are cutting, the feel is well balanced, it runs smoother and is much quieter. Since I have a couple of other Dewalt tools that use the same battery and charger it was a no brainer to buy this multi tool.

    Good Power and Balance

    Had DeWalt batteries and charger so went with the bare tool and saved some real money. This oscillator packs some power and doesn't waste time making cuts. At first seemed heavy but quickly found it is well balanced and the weight is a plus for free handing things like wall outlets. Currently running 450 feet of baseboard and cove molding. Using a carbide finger rasp makes easy work of inletting joints. The saw is energy efficient and allows for use of a light weight 2AH battery pack. Highly recommended.

    Amazing Versatility

    I am already a big fan of Dewalt tools and an heavily invested in their various battery models. Having a variety of 12V, 20V, and 60V "flex volt" batteries, can now buy just the tools and swap in my array of existing batteries. If I have a big job, I grab a large Ah pack. Else, grab a little one and slap it back on the charger when I'm done. The Dewalt brushless 20V multi-tool replaced a corded Dremel which I passed on to my daughter.

    Useful tool with better features than competitors

    The battery works great, no more fumbling with cords. And it has a quick change 'bit' replacement that makes it a snap. I had to buy extra the sanding pad attachment. The variable speed is great, less of a need for hearing protection.

    Good product. 2 bad features.

    Do not like variable speed trigger. It would be better if trigger controlled on/off and dial controlled speed. Also the spring to attach blades is great idea but it is had hard to use due very stiff sping.

    Awesome product...

    If you don't already own a multi-tool, its one of the coolest tools to have. There are plenty of use cases for this product, but I typically use it to do cut outs for outlets and it beats using something like a rotary tool since those create the biggest mess of fine dust you can imagine. Multi-tools can be a little messy too, but not nearly as much. I also believe you can be a lot more precise with a multitool.
