      Great Movie, Great 25th Year Edition & Extras

      Great piece of historical film making. Trying to explain the movie and its impact to my fifteen year- old son was next to impossible. Showing him the movie and the retrospective interviews with Arnold made it much easier.

      You wouldn't think it, but Pumping Iron is a classic

      It just doesn’t get any better than this. A documentary tracing the early Arnold Schwarzenegger’s chase to win the 1975 Mr. Olympia title and defend his five-time title. In fact, Arnold never lost a competition – and Pumping Iron was the behind-the-scenes story of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s sixth title chase against big body-building names like Lou Ferrigno Serge Nubret, Franco Columbu, Mik Katz, Ken Waller and others. Even Joe Weider himself is in the movie. Pumping Iron was a huge hit during the 70s and, after the Cinemax special in 2003, Pumping Iron enjoyed a rebirth of success that was only heightened when Arnold himself was named Governor of California months later.       An Arnold's fan must have! Funny and a classic.

      The movie is great. What I wanted to see from a young Arnold prior to Hollywood. It is not a workout training video, it is a story of the body building world and a look behind the scenes when it was not that popular to do. Prior to the workout and fitness revolution going on now.
