Great book! John MacArthur is consistently putting out good books. He has written another. The only negative is his use of the conspiracy to hide the word slave from the translations. I think that may have been a little overboard. The rest of the book was solid with great ideas and great illustration from Scripture. It is something that we must contend for, but I choose not to be called a quake suggesting hundreds of years of coverups. I know he is trying to bolster his point by not sounding like he is changing the Bible but that they were, but he comes of sounding otherwise. He is not radical as he was thirty years ago but he sounds like the younger man in just this part and the seasoned Bible expositor in the rest.
Very informative book when your searching how to be a better Christ follower and the deference between a servant and a slave very good read.

John MacArthur - Once again deals with a most misunderstood term in the Greek New Testament, i.e. the term δοῦλος. Think you understand the term servant? Think again, :-) Enjoy this beneficial work "Slave" by John.
