The Dyson AM10 humidifier is an ideal choice for those who require moisture in the air, especially during the winter, but are wary of the bacteria and mold that so often grows in run-of-the-mill humidifiers. In addition to merely providing moist air, this white and silver humidifier has several functionalities. In the summer, when the room’s air humidity level is typically higher, this Dyson model also acts like a fan, using Air Multiplier technology to help force air into the room. Because of its design, this humidifier fan features no blades, so not only will it provide an even airflow, it’s also safe around children and pets. A built-in climate control on this Dyson also ensures that their air doesn’t get too humid or too dry, regulating the air every time you have the humidifier on. Additionally, when you are using this device as a humidifier, you have the option of either cool or warm mist. Especially when you’re suffering from the cold or flu, the type of moist air forced into the room can really make a difference. The AM10 also has set-it-and-forget-it options, allowing you to set a sleep timer to turn the device off, or let it run for up to 18 hours of continuous humidity. If you need to operate the machine from across the room, the included infrared remote control allows you to change most settings on the humidifier, including mist and airflow.

    Impressive

    It is absolutely silent. One of our main concerns. We've had it a week and have not had to refill the tank. using it in bedroom where I tend to get a dry, bleeding nose at night. Leaving in a desert climate will do that to some people. Great feature is you can adjust the amount of humidity you want in the air, has a Auto setting as well. Added plus a timer!!!

    More heavily used than refurbished.

    The price and the condition don’t line up. Sure the unit is $400-$500 new but the refurb price is far too high for the condition these arrive in. Chips, loads of scratches, and blems. Maybe i just had bad luck. Will not buy refurb from Dyson ever again. I ended up buying a new powerpure 2000 instead for half the price. The value just isn’t there with Dyson refurb units, i don’t know how else to say it. Sadly i would not recommend this to anyone as for $200-$300 you can buy an amazing top model humidifier brand new from powerpure or stadler.

    Excellent. Exactly as described. Very satisfied. Quiet and extremely helpful. Can tell difference not only in my skin and breathing but its good for my indoor plants and my antique furniture as well (added bonus!).

    Dyson remote

    the Dyson humidifier is a relatively new product and Dyson is not yet selling the remotes which are a necessity for correctly running the humidifier so a purchase like this on eBay is the only way to get a second remote. this one came promptly and works as it should so i am happy
