    Loves it

    Bought for my husband for Christmas he has been watching it all the time cannot get enough of Brittas Empire you either love or hate it he loves it.

    Gordon Brittas!

    This is an uncomfortable series to watch for anyone involved in politics - it shows rather uncannily the way the country itself has been run for the past ten years if not more. I've had so many bosses like this that it is too close to real life as well - there must be something lacking in British management if we ended up running the country as bad as Brittas runs Whitbury Leisure Centre (hint: David Cameron's parliamentary constituency is called Witney - did they see him coming even in 1991?). Brittas is painful to watch in this series but it does get better later on - before unfortunately they spoiled it by redeeming what is easily the nastiest and yet funniest comic character created over the last fifteen years. They just don't get any more excruciating than Gordon - he even surpasses ...

    the Brittas Empire Series one

    My husband and I watched this series on tv years ago, and we loved it. I used to tell my grand children about it and I couldn't believe it when I found it on ebay. We watched a couple of them the other night and now I can't wait for my grandchildren to come so they can see it. It is still just as funny as we remember it and the quality of the dvd is brilliant.
