Lightweight and powerful
Well designed and good build quality. very powerful motor. Only downside is this model has quite a small collection canister and the battery only lasts about 20 minutes and only 6 on turbo power. However the suction is powerful enough without resorting to the turbo boost. Cleans very well and powerful for size with useful tools. So much easier to use and quicker than a corded vacuum. It is possible to get a higher capacity battery for it than the one supplied, but battery can only be replaced with the aid of a screwdriver so no point in having a spare. Despite the small dust collection capacity would highly recommend. Great price as it was a "refurbished" model but was as good as new having been done by Dyson themselves.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

18 months on, it still works OK
The first time the tubular filter in the top blocks up, the machine keeps intermittently cutting out. This filter is not easy to wash. Do you squirt water in the top or against the outside? As it takes a day to dry its annoying so we bought a spare (£17!) Also annoying that the batteries can be replaced by a more powerful version ( not offered by Dyson).) Later: You can buy 300mA batteries on ebay. You can pull the filter apart and clean out the plug of fluff that blocks the inside (see YouTube)Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

A bargain!
Was sceptical about purchasing a refurbished vacuum cleaner from Dyson. I already own a Dyson vacuum (after 5 years still running like brand new) but its abit on the heavy side and dread pulling it around the house. With only me and my husband its pointless having to do a big clean as there's not much of a mess. Been wanting a Dyson handheld for what seems like forever and didn't want to spend £300-£400 for a new one. So i looked on Ebay and stumbled upon the Dyson Outlet. I saw this model listed and was in two minds about it. But then took a chance and ordered it. Placed order on Saturday night and it arrived on monday morning :) Really quick delivery. Took it out the box. But before i did, i had my expectations low so i didn't get disappointed. So i took it out and it actually looks like new! Ok, a couple of scuffs here and there but nothing major and can hardly been seen. Its got battery power, so its been charged. Tried it out and works perfectly fine. Worked and sounds just like my brother's one that he only brought 2 weeks ago, brand new. So now I've ordered another one, to gift to my sister as her 2 young daughters are always making a mess. They probably do the vacuuming themselves :) So don't hesitate to buy. If you're not happy with it you can always return but once you see and try it out, you wouldn't want to. Going in the right direction
In our 70s we are no longer able to lug our upright upstairs and modern cylinders didn't promise any better. I was able to try this in a local hire shop, seemingly kept pretty dirty for the purpose (+salesman happy to empty it onto the floor!) and was impressed enough to take the plunge despite other reviews saying the battery life is too short. The lightweight is a huge bonus, slightly spoiled by no onboard storage for the small accessories. The head swivel is fantastic for getting under chairs, dressers etc. The ability to jettison the shaft when going up stairs makes them easy to do, including tapered winders. The battery life is too short for a compete 3 bed house clean. Spare battery (with screwdriver needed to change) is quite expensive, so power-tool type usage not practical. As other reviewers say, clean bits of the house at a time, not rely on a blitz half an hour before guests arrive. The emptying has to be done quite frequently and is not as clean and easy as the small slide clip implies. You need to take the whole transparent sleeve off to clean the blue bit and it is very hit and miss getting it back on. So far there is no residual smell after use, as has been a pain with previous mains models, bagged or bagless. The fitting assembly is a clip job, so can't use non-Dyson accessories. With some attention on the few downsides, this could become the shape of vacuuming to come.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Brilliant hoover
Despite the fact I had to wait over a week to get my hands on it because of parcel force lack of professionalism and after paying 1£ extra to have it delivered to the nearest post office... I can only say that the hoover is brilliant!! Well worth it, light compared to standard hoovers, battery don’t last much and a higher power is required if you want to do all rooms in one go. I got with it a warranty card so hope they’ll honour it for the next 2 years of use, as an advice to all other that are on the edge of decision I would say GO FOR IT!!! don’t wait... because it comes with all you need for it! well less the handler... if that’s what you need too😀Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

DYSON THE MAGNIFICENT
This is the most amazing cleaner, worth every penny, very powerful, ingenious docking station (no dragging cleaner out of cupboard, no plugging in, no cord trailing over foor, no replugging when length runs out) just unhook from station and press the tit, fully charged and ready to go. All the bits fit sharply and securely with a click and it is tough. easy to remedy blockages This has been well thought out. Great value
Product is lightweight and very easy to use. Picks up well on carpet and hard floors and the battery lasts long enough for me to easily cover all the flooring in my 2 bed house. The smallest drawback is when emptying it does help to have an implement to hook out the dust rather than remove the whole cylinder. The product arrived in perfect condition not a scratch or mark to be found appeared brand new. The attachments are easy to use and the instructions a simple. The battery life is a little short for what I wanted but I will purchase a second battery. The suction power is good enough when switched to max suction power but it does drain the power faster. Bargain
Although sold as reconditioned the condition is like brand new. It is so simple and easy to use it encourages vacuuming! Makes vacuuming the stairs so much easier with a lot less effort. As far as cleaning the car is concerned it eliminates all that faffing about with extension leads and lugging about the much heavier standard vacuum cleaner.
