Using the UPS makers recommended battery is a good choice.
I have very recently bought two replacement 12 volt 9 amp / hour SLA heavy duty (F2 terminal) batteries that are make by Hitachi and branded CSB and they are the serving set of batteries that I hsgr installed in an APC SC 10001 UPS. The original set lasted over 7 years and the (just replaced set) lasted 6 years and 10 months before the set test siftwste in the UPS indicated they needed you be replaced. I therefore chose the same battery as was in the unit when new and as used for the first replacement. I have owned the UPS for 14 years and it has given outstanding reliable service. I fully exprct it to run for another 6 or 7 years. Summary - Yes I am very happy with CSB Batteries by Hitachi - the price and delivery were also first rate.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Exactly what i needed
Batterys are working so far. only time will tell. came packaged in a box with full foam surround so very well protected, comes pre charged. all in all its a very cheap and what seems a good battery. as i said only time will tell us how long they last. but for 40 dollars you cant really go wrongVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

More for less with peace of mind
Battery in my NBN box started beeping, indicating a replacement was required. Having a look at retail sites they were same spec as original for double the price of this one. Hitachi is a brand I know as being reputable and reliable and is a higher capacity spec than the 7Ah standard battery. The swap over was a two minute job and seamless in the transition.
