Offering 16-bit resolution and a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz, the Akai Professional EIE I/O Audio/MIDI Interface with integrated USB hubs allows you to record audio at the quality level of a compact disc. By using the device’s convenient plug-and-play feature, you are able to connect several types of production equipment and musical instruments to your computer. You can also use it with nearly any music editing software that is available, including GarageBand and Pro Tools. It is very ruggedly built and offers an aluminum casing, nickel-plated input jacks, and analog-style VU meters.
