      Great strings

      I prefer flat wounds, and these are very good; pricey, but worth it. I use them on all my electric basses. Highly recommend.

      Too Short!

      I bought these for my Harley Benton Beat Bass, which is a short-scale, violin shaped bass that looks like a Hofner "Beatle" bass. Unfortunately, even though that bass is definitely a short-scale bass, these strings were too short - I don't have another short-scale bass for comparison, but they seem to be too short to fit any other short-scale basses that I've played. Very disappointing...

      If you need strings, go with Roto-sound (these happened to be short scale).

      I cannot believe how smooth these strings are! The old ones were tearing up my fingers and I didn't realize it. Item is also fairly priced. Bass strings have not gone up with inflation. Roto-sound strings are the way to go!
