The Closing Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games was titled a Symphony of British Music, celebrating the fact that music has been one of Great Britain's strongest cultural exports over the last 50 years. This live album soundtrack contains highlights from an extraordinary evening of music, which saw Elbow, the Who, Spice Girls, Take That, Jessie J, George Michael and many more on stage for this global event. This set features the Mass Bands of the Household Division's blazing rendition of Blur's "Parklife", Russell Brand's Willy Wonka-inspired take on "I Am the Walrus" and Eric Idle's unforgettable performance of "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life".
