    So-so comic chase film, with medium-large stunts, starring Gibson & Hawn. Not enough chemistry to hold the film together, and the baddies are weak.

    Comic chase movie from 1990, as Gibson & Hawn are pursued across the northern US states by corrupt drug-enforcement agents. Hawn unwittingly provides clues using the phone & her beloved gold credit card, whilst the DEA have all of Gibsons prior contacts --- hence, the title, I guess. There are a number of set-piece stunts, though not quite a big as in the Lethal Weapon series, and there is an interesting finale in a zoo with several big cats. One of the themes of the film is the butt-shot, and we see several of each lead in various stages of undress. Gibson displays the charm and athleticism which made him a huge star as Mad Max & Riggs, in Lethal Weapon. Rick, his character here, has the same sense of humour as Riggs, but is a bit calmer, more overtly anti-establishment, and prefers ...
