      Bargain Entry level Communications reciever!

      Controls seem sparse but it is easy to use by setting memories near frequencies of interest. The variable tuning speed works well too. Audio is good. I use mine for broadcasts and not for crowded Ham band SSB. It does not have all the controls my ICOM R75 and ALINCO DX-R8 have for digging out weak stations, but it gets most everything strong enough to listen to for far less money, sounds better and uses far less power which is important if you are on batteries. I did not try connecting to a computer for maps and FAX. Great for power outage use or to set up in a good location for casual DXing or long range listening. - FARMERIK
