      Repaired my Volvo alternator

      I replaced my voltage regulator with this part after reviewing many repair procedures. My original Bosch Volvo 160 amp alternator stopped charging. This fixed it for a lot less than a new or rebuilt alternator.

      Bosch regulator

      Had to get a new alternator. It came, was installed, and promptly gave me the battery and warning lights associated with the incorrect regulator. I ordered this one, installed it on the new alternator, and it took right off, with no lights, and haven't missed a beat since. Feels great to have the right parts. Thanks!

      Great regulator!! Wish I bought this first

      I had the annoying "power system system urgent" message on my 2006 XC70, so bought one of the aftermarket alternators to save some money. Well it didn't work as I guess Volvos can be sensitive to them. After a lot of frustration, I decided instead of buying a new expensive alternator, to just buy this regulator. It corrected the problem. Wanted to write this up for anyone dealing with this issue. Give this a try. It should clear the code automatically (I think), but if not use volvo vida.

      Genuine Bosch replacement

      Direct fit, i was able to do it without removing the alternator but it was a bit of a challenge. Completely fixed the issue and no charging problems since i changed it.
