    Vistavision and Technicolor bonanza !

The story of vaudvilian Eddie Foy and Family Bob Hope is entertaining in the role of Eddie Foy Sr.Great cameo by James Cagney as George Cohan. The best part for me was the dance routine by Cagney and Hope. And the crystal clear image of Vistavision !

Appalling but with one fabulous scene that is worth the money alone!

This DVD was worth buying for one scene, Hope and Cagney dancing on a table top. Absolutely these two demonstrated their incredible talent to dance like we will never see again, in particular Cagney who had a very unique style. The rest of this film is not worth looking at as the Foy character was a horrible person and will only serve to depress you, but the Hope Cagney scene is just incredible and will never fade.

  • Family entertainment

Based on a true story, Bob Hope as Eddie Foy is nominated as "Father of the Year" in this light comedy where he raises 7 children. Since the single Dad doesn't know what to do with them, he takes them on the road and makes them part of his act. Watch for the "tabletop tap" duel with James Cagney playing George M. Cohan near the end of the movie

  • The Seven Little Foys

After running disc two times the movie is great no wear anywhere, Bob Hope was without doubt one of the best in his field and hoofing with James Cagney outstanding

  • Hope impressive

The best thing in the film is Bob Hope and James Cagney dancing together! That sequence alone was worth the price of admission. Fun to see young Beaver Cleaver Jerry Mathers and Billy Gray among the actors playing little Foys.
