This game has three, single player shooters from Milestone Developer. Karous, Radirgy(Radio Allergy), and Chaos Field which already made a console appearance on the Nintendo Gamecube back in 2005. Not to mention these games have all appeared on the Dreamcast years prior. The price is great for this budget package. Each game is a lot of fun, a total bullet hell raiser, and it's a must for any Wii owner looking for a shooting experience on Wii. It delivers that no problem in total arcade fasion. The problem is, this game has no multiplayer, no co-op, no online functionality, nothing outside of playing the shooters and beating them. There's very little to come back to, even for three full games. So, this really hurts the value of the game overall. Its a better offering than most budget titles on Wii by offering three games that are not mini-game compilations or multilayer centric. But, that's not saying much considering this package is devoid of any multiplayer functionality. Overall, I can only suggest this title for hardcore shooter fans, or someone with a flaire for the arcade format. Other than that, it's really not worth it if you don't like shooters or arcade games. I wouldn't lie to you. 7/10 for me.Read full review
This collection is easily one of the best purchases I've made for my Wii. I'm kind of new to bullet hell shmups but this collection is very approachable thanks to adjustable difficulties and the occasional allotment of extra credits all while retaining the sheer intensity the genre is known for. Each of the three games included here plays kind of similarly which is understandable considering they share a common developer but retain their own unique aspects making them memorable and special. The music in each game is definitely something that stood out to me as were the visual designs; Chaos Field in particular was a sight to behold, even without HD output! Each one controlled great with the classic controller pro and served for a hearty experience and one that I'm easily looking forward to revisiting. If you have a Wii compatible device and are looking to get into the bullet hell shooter genre or add further experience to your repertoire, look no further than Ultimate Shooting Collection!Read full review
One of the best shooters in a long time! This is coming from a guy who is a BIG shooter fan. I have played them all from Ikaruga to Radiant Silvergun. I would say for all three games on the this disc, GREAT GRAPHICS, GREAT CHALLENGE and GREAT FUN!! A must have for your Wii Collection! If you can find it! Its becoming RARE to find! Get it soon!!! :)
This sounded like a great flying, shooting game. The pictures on the box looked good. I figured it'd be a lot of fun. played the first game. The graphics were terrible. I thought maybe it was just the first game. Turns out all three were bad. A total waste of money!
Format does not change each time game is played. Instructions on screen are small and hard to read. No full screen, broaders on both sides not ultilized, making images small. Does not come close to interaction in the Wii Sport, Resort, SEGA Bass Fishing, etc.
These games look like they're adapted to Wii from 20 year old Chinese arcade game software. The game doesn't fit the tv screen fully, the text is in Chinese. Going to a farting contest at the senior center would be much more exciting.
First off, most of you people in here need to read the question being asked. This is not to rate the sellers you morons, it is to rate the games. Secondly these are OLD games, they are not going to look like new games!!
not at all happy with the format. acts and looks like something from the 70's. VERY LOW TECH. would not reccomend to anyone. Maybe kids 6 and under
The games provided appear to be very poor conversions from a 25 year game console. No way would I ever recommend or buy this.
if u know the name Gallaga from the eightys than u b able 2 master tthis exact game, it did give me some minor fun
