Great basic lenshood

These are good basic lens hoods that look exactly as pictured. These were designed for Leica style cameras and were fitted with slits that would not block the Optical Rangefinger Veiwport. I prefer this style of hood because the vents make the hood more transparent to infrared focus beams most cameras now use. Also the design allows you to fit a clipon lens cap without removing the hood. This lenshood fits a 46mm filter size but would use a 55mm lens cap. However be careful when using filters as even a single standard thickness filter may cause vignetting. If you keep a UV filter on your lens, use a thin one.
