This thing is great! Lightweight, easy to use and the build quality is amazing considering the price. The neat carry pack is a bonus. Using it is fast and switching from yards to metres is easy. The optics are pretty good. It measures to the 1/10th of a metre which is a nice touch but probably not too useful given it's handheld. But as to accuracy, mine is accurate up to 50 m measured against my millimetre accurate laser range finder, which bodes well for longer distances too. Of course this one you can actually use outside in the daylight. I haven't used the speed measuring mode. No real need. My only quibble, small as I knew before I bought, is that all these devices say '1000 yards' but they can't do that reliably, not unless you've got a large flat surface facing you (preferably reflective like a window). They're not military spec so not powerful enough. Mine does very well up to 400-500m and will do a big tree at 550-600m. I once got a house at 950m but it wasn't repeatable. I don't doubt you could do a cruise ship at full range but you aren't going to be measuring off any gently sloping grass bank at over 400m. Not unless you're in a helicopter! Overall I love it though. I bought it for placing fence posts on acreage, which it will do with ease, but it has far more value in the geek factor. "How far is my neighbours house from mine?" "How far is that corner of my roof from here?" "What about from here?" "Can I fit a shipping container in there?" Why did my plumber charge me for 200m of work when it's only 133m?" etc etc etc. Read full review

the rangefinder works as it says - however i bought a different model and was told that they didnt have it in stock and their alternative was also out of stock. This rangefinder was supposed to be an upgrade. It is very hard to use for golf. It doesn't have a pin lock mechanism which makes it very much guesswork to determine how far to hit the ball, which is the sole reason to buy a range finder for golf. This would be ideal for hunting - but at long distances, it really isnt that specific. Don't buy this for golf.

Nice product. Easy to use. Led crystal text is harder to read on a gloomy day. Bang for buck it's a good deal.

This laser rangefinder is compact, lightweight, easy to use and handy to carry. It’s nice that the focus is adjustable for a clearer image of target. It has has two modes that I can toggle in between, mode 1 for range, mode 2 for speed. It also vibration function when you one push of the button. It seems to be durable and quality built so far. It comes with a hard carrying case for safe keeping. Overall, my husband is impressed with this rangefinder and we’re both looking forward to use it at the gun range.

Simple, light weight and easy to use. As can be expected with any hand held device, it needs to be held steady for longer range measurements. I think its great value.
