“This is in very good condition, it is intermittently working. It has a stunning oak body in a rectangular shaping. The oak has a dark conker coloured finish, with a smooth, mild gloss finish. There is a patina, commensurate with it's age, which enhances the appearance of the clock. The face is a circular, antiqued cream dial on a square panel, with black Roman numerals and hands. The clock has a scrolled decal at each corner between the circle shaping of the face and the square shaped panel. There is one winding train to the centre. Underneath the face is a pendulum chamber, which has a paper lining to the back. It is marked FU TRADE MARK. The face and pendulum chamber has an oak framed, glass door, which is intact and in excellent condition. The bottom section of the glass has been painted in a black band with a gilt design. Some of this has worn through time. The clock stands on a plinth base. The back of the clock is marked: GLADSTONE. Key and pendulum included.”
