Seller Notes: | “This is in excellent condition and is in working order, however the alarm function is not. It has a stunning oak body with a pointed finial top. The oak has a dark conker coloured finish. Through time it has acquired a patina, which enhances the appearance of the clock. The face is a white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and metal hands. The numerals have worn through time. Surrounding the clock face are some decorative scrolls. There are two winding trains. Underneath the face is a pendulum chamber, the pendulum is intact. The backing of the pendulum chamber is lined with paper, which is marked: E PLURIBUS UNUM. The face and pendulum chamber has a wooden framed, glass casing, which is intact and is in excellent condition. The clock stands on a plinth base. To the top there are two finials which compliment the pointed roof. These are intact and in excellent condition. This clock is complete with it's key and pendulum.” |
