“This is in excellent condition and is in full working order. It has a stunning oak body with a curved outer shaping. The curves have been accentuated with carved scroll decals. The oak has a conker coloured finish, with a visible grain and subtle sunburst effect. There is a very mild patina, which it has acquired through time. The face is a circular, silvered chapter ring on an oak dial with black Roman numerals and metal hands. The clock is marked: ANVIL underneath the numeral XII and MADE IN ENGLAND underneath the numeral VI. There are two winding trains. The face has a metal framed, convex glass casing, which is intact and is in excellent condition. The clock stands on two wedged feet. To the back of the clock is a door to the mechanism chamber. The door is intact and in excellent condition. The mechanism has been very well maintained. There is a coiled chime bar. The mechanism is marked: PERIVAL ALL BRITISH CLOCKS. This clock comes complete with it's key and pendulum.”
