“This is in excellent condition and is in full working order. It has a stunning oak body in a domed shaping. The oak has a conker coloured finish, with a darker, visible grain. There is a very mild patina, which it has acquired through time. The face is a cream chapter ring on tot he oak with silvered numbers and hands. The clock is marked: MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN underneath the number six. There are two winding trains. The face has a metal framed, convex glass casing, which is intact and is in excellent condition. The clock stands on two wedged oak feet. To the back of the clock is a door to the mechanism chamber. The door is intact and in excellent condition. The mechanism has been very well maintained. Due to the unusual shaping of the pendulum and it's close proximity to the chime bar, this clock can be quite difficult to set up correctly. Therefore this clock should only be purchased by a someone with a good knowledge of clocks (collector). The clock comes with it's original key.”
