| Seller Notes: | “This is in excellent condition and is in full working order. It has a stunning wooden body in a pointed shape. The wood has a biscuit coloured finish, with a darker, visible grain. There is a patina, which it has acquired through time. This enhances it's appearance. The face is a circular, silvered chapter ring dial with black Roman numerals and hands. There is a brass alarm setting dial in the centre of the face and two winding trains. Underneath the face is the pendulum chamber. This has a backing paper, which is marked: Uhrenfabrik Teutonia Made in Germany. There is a the alarm bell also in the back of this chamber. The face and chamber have a wooden framed, glass casing, which is intact and is in excellent condition. The glass has been painted with a decorative design, which is a lovely feature. Also the wooden frame has a parquet patterning. The door is held fastened with s brass clasp. The clock stands on a plinth base. This comes complete with it's key and pendulum.” |
