So, if you love the Olympics, and if you like technical gaming, then this is probably a good one for you. If you like arcade style action, and something that's just downright fun once you turn it on, don't buy it. I've only had the game for a couple of days, and I'm actually scared to turn it back on. Every event has a different style of control, which I think is actually cool. But that means having to learn how to do each event, which is also pretty cool. That means there's a ton of gameplay ahead of me, and that's cool. But I buy games to sit down after work and relax and have fun. This game ain't it. Like I said, I'm scared to turn it back on. Also, another feature is that you are ranked against other players of the game across the world (I'm guessing). My first forays into the 100M dash put me at 380,000th on the leader board....LOL. I sucked. But the best I was able to do after 10 minutes of practice was about #108,000 on the board. Wow...I've got a lot of work to do. And frankly, that's what it is, work. This game is awesome!!! Some sports has difficult comands, but I'm sure that I'll have many hours of fun, cause I don't think that I can be good in all events. I highlight those sports: all of track & field (specially triple and high jump, javelin & hammer), the swimming ones, gymnastics (floor) and archery.
its alot of fun once you get going. it does take alot of practice. its one of those games that you will NEVER master and there is always room for progression and advancement of your score. not like guitar hero where once you hit 100% its over... you can always get a better score on this...
I bought Beijing 08 on Ps3 and it is an ok game, very hard but fun. I bought it because i wanted something different to play and it really is.... it has a lot of events that u can do on there. the graphics are not so great, but it dosent really matter for a game like this.
I´ve written the feedback in the wrong product, what a mistake. This buying is not closed. I´m waiting for the game. At least the tracking number is ok and lets see if de USPS Mail Service will delevery it in next days.
