Used in accordance with instructions and wildly inaccurate when used at 5cms. Can't use when ambient temp is below 15. Checked against mercury thermometer and degrees different. Bought this way more expensive model expecting accuracy but very disappointed.

On the instruction booklet it clearly claims that it has a "Protective Scanner Cap" but there is no such thing with it.This is NO good for your daily use with such an expensive product!!! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

This thermometer is temperamental. It often has an error message and I'm not sure of it's accuracy when taking temperature. I am disappointed because it's meant to be one of the better thermometers on the market. I can't rely on it when my child is sick.

it's a good buy. it feels like good quality in hand compares to another thermometer i have. I wasn't aware it is 0.5C lower than rectal measurement. sometimes its the difference between fever or not. it would be nice if it had a protective cover.
