Great product. Actually does what it's advertised to do. I was sceptical at first, as every other sandwich maker I've had has crushed the bread, but this makes perfect fluffy toasted sandwiches. If I was going to be picky, I would say that this will not work well for those who put in a lot of filling and/or use thick bread, as the top plate will not stay level. However, if you're like me and just want a simple ham & cheese 'toasty', you'll love this.

It allows you to make sandwiches without being squashed thin, It's easy to use, but slightly smaller than regular sandwich press, so it's not feasible to make 2 sandwiches at once. The price is a big different from the regular one only for the hinged feature
