When the 2970 arrived, it was packaged well and powered up with no issues. The Cisco Catalyst C22970 Gigabit switch is the primary switch in my home network. I was able to set up VLAN's for security of certain areas of my home network that I wanted limited access to. I can manage the switch remotely and found it extremely easy to configure using the Cisco software. Ebay has made my Cisco CCNA training and certification process affordable and within reach due to the many bargains for used Cisco equipment.
