I have a Mazda 6 sedan, I put it in my back seat and I have found it a little too small. My dog (Kelpie, knee high) had trouble finding her footing as she is used to standing on the seat and looking through the front window. Its almost as if it's not wide enough. I'll adjust the straps from the headrests to try to fix that issue. It does keep the dirt inside. Also, I previously used a leash that clips into the seatbelt. It had a lead that attaches to the back headrest.
