I bought this to use on my fur grandbaby, Bella, because I'm scared to use the other kinds of clippers. This works and Miss Bella didn't seem to mind it ( she gets anxious easily) but it does smell liked something burning while you're using them. I will probably take her in to have her nails clipped and then use this as a touch up tool. If dogs nails are long this product is time consuming and I feel would use a lot of batteries. Overall, good product and I would recommend for upkeep after nails are clipped.

It seems to be good for some dogs from reviews I read. I have a little yorkie and she is very sensitive to it. So I have not succeeded in filing her nails yet. I hope she will soon not be so sensitive to it. It is very light weight and comes even with replacements for the filing. I am sure it is a good product and appreciate getting it. I won't give up and hope one day I will succeed in triming her nails with this device.

Yes its not very expensive but at least you would think its something you could get some use from. The problem is the rubber drum that the sanding drum goes on is so far out of balance that it vibrates so bad that you can't grind a nail. Seller was great and sent me a second one but it does the same thing. Save your money on this item

The product doesn't file my dog's nails that well. It takes too long to file down. It is also a bit noisy.

My little dog runs away from me as soon as it sees it due to the terrible noise. The material is cheap and it even moves when you are using it so it’s not accurate to file his nails properly.
