This is a great tool to have in any shed. I had a huge brush pile that took a little time to remove, but was completely removed to wood chips. Anytime I trim my trees I now have a alternate solution to adding to a huge brush pile. Another plus for me is that what the tool cannot handle is cut up for kindling. My only suggestion would be would be to have a quick release to unjam the unit for the occasional jams. It takes some inconvenient lengthy interruption to remove the stuck wood that halts the motor. Wish I had this before I ended up that mountain of debris that took years to create! Next, I will be looking into the leaf shreader.

Might be a bit harsh, but not impressed with the quality of the unit. I find it difficult to feed branches, etc into the top of the unit. The mulch sizing is not even close to being uniform. Have to feed it veeerry slooow to prevent jamming the unit. I'll try it a few more times, but given a 20% vendor restocking policy, plus having to repackage the unit and pay return shipping, it will be easier to leave it by the side of the road in hopes that someone will pirate it away in the night.

Maybe a few loose fasteners but nothing significant! Put it altogether in a jiffy, a good user-manual was provided. This purchase represented very good value, since the regular 'new' price is much higher than the one offered by this supplier. It is a regular 14 Amp Chipper/shredder, never used it seems, but simply separated from its original packaging, so it may have had parts missing. Lucky for us, this was not the case and the assembled product is good as new!

I purchased this to dispose of garden waste and to shred tree trimming waste. This worked great, I was amazed how well it ground up branches. It saves an amazing amount of space when you have to use containers to get rid of green waste. It makes quick work of chipping up branches. The cost was certainly a factor when purchasing this chipper. It was actually cheaper to buy this than to rent a a professional chipper for a week or so; and a profession grade chipper would have been more dangerous to operate. It has jammed up a few times, but it is very easy to open up and remove jams. I would recommend this to any person with lots of tree trimmings to dispose of.

Works great for what it is. Feed it slowly, let it do the work. Twigs smaller that 1/16 inch tend to slip through blades without getting cut up and will clog output. Pay attention to motor speed and chip output to avoid jamming. Cleaning the machine is easy, unplug, open cover, mind the sharp blades. Safety key is small and easily misplaced. There is no hole to attach a cord, either drill a small hole or superglue one on. You'll thank me, Have not fed branches larger than 1 inch. Follow safety guidelines.
