Golf Carts

Golf carts, they're not just for golf

Whilst golf carts are most commonly used on a golf course to get from hole to hole, these nippy little vehicles can be useful in a number of different scenarios. Golf carts can regularly be seen in large studios or warehouses around Australia, taking people from place to place when walking just wouldn't be efficient. It's not uncommon to see golf carts being used on university campuses to cross large distances quickly, often used by campus security.

Electric golf carts are the most common and powered by an onboard battery, these can usually be charged from a specialised outlet, though many can use just about any socket. These carts are incredibly economical, often able to give up to 30 miles on a single charge, though some will do more and others less. The accepted average speed sits at around 15mph though some will be able to go faster than this.

They're rarer to see, but petrol engine golf carts are produced by many brands. These may go further than an electric cart on a full tank of petrol, but will also be noisier and less environmentally friendly.

Golf carts can range from single seaters for when you are just practising on your own to 2-seater carts and even 4-seater golf carts. So you and three golfing buddies can zip from hole to hole without tiring out your legs. Popular brands include Yamaha, E-Z-Go and Club Car.

These compact vehicles are great for crossing short distances quickly. They're easy to drive and include ample space for your golf club bags and accessories. Landscapers and gamekeepers will often use them if they're working on long stretches of land as they are convenient and practical. Whatever you want to use a golf cart for, be it for professional use or its intended purpose, you are sure to find one to suit you.
