Previous G300 lasted a good 6 years and thousands of hours of use. The rubber grip on the sides wore through to the plastic beneath before the mouse ever stopped working. The G300S is functionally the same, and my ideal mouse. The extra buttons are out of the way but easy to find/press, and the indents on the side grip prevent slipping well. Only downside is the scroll wheel can't toggle to free scroll.

Good value for money but it feels quite small in my hand - my fingers feel quite cramped. Also, the Logitech Game Software on my Mac doesn't recognise it so I can't get in and alter any colours or settings which is very frustrating.

Tried some of their more complicated mice - the 300SD just seems to work a whole lot better. Still a useful number of extra buttons, and they are still programmable, and with non-volatile memory. The adjustable DPI feature does not get in the way of normal mouse operations, unlike their more advanced models

This mouse is great. It has 7 colour lights in it I didn’t even know existed until I plugged it in. Very accurate and great to use.
