Very sturdy and easy to assemble, comfortable to use
Previously I used a Hydraulic Rowing Machine which felt awkward and was noisy to use, but this Magnetic Rowing Machine is smooth, comfortable and very quiet. Only issue with assembly was getting everything out of the box, but once that is overcome assembly is very quick and easy with only around a dozen parts and a handful of screws. The seat slides smoothly and is very comfortable and the tension setting are very east to use. The LCD screen display is simple and easy to follow. Sturdy little machine
I wanted a small, good quality but inexpensive rowing machine and the Rower442 is living up to its positive reviews. It took about half an hour to unbox and put together, and comes with all the tools you need plus easy-to-follow instructions, which also show you how to open up the main body for maintenance of the flywheel. The battery for the computer is also easy to access and replace. The rower has a small footprint, great for a cramped house, and can be easily folded and wheeled around. It feels very strong with no flexing or rattling, the nylon cord is heavy duty and the plastic parts are thick and solid. The seat is comfortable and the pedals rest at just the right angle. The flywheel is silent; the only noise this machine makes is a slight rumble of the seat. This is my first ... After using an inferior rower for a short while, I was in the market for a top value-for-money machine. Having done some research I settled on the Lifespan 442. The features suited my needs and the price was right. The machine was very easy to assemble and straight away the step up in build quality from my previous rower was evident. It feels sturdier and operates comfortably in a smoother, quieter manner. The 12 resistance settings, combined with the different modes on the display module, give me plenty of room for an increased range of training. I have been looking for a rowing machine for a while and came across the Lifespan Rower 442. After reading previous reviews I thought that I would give it a shot. I was not disappointed, this machine is outstanding value for money. It has been used daily in my house by the whole family from age 12 through to 45 and everybody has found it really easy to unfold from it's folded up position to ready to go mode. The various levels of tension are great for the whole family. The machine is so easy to set up and is really good quality. My favourite thing about the Rower 442 is how quiet it is. My only concern is that when it is folded up the seat rests on the tension dial and will leave it indented after a while. Overall I have no problem recommending this product to other users. It arrived well packaged and was easy to assemble. The instruction manual that came with it was clear and easy to follow. It feels sturdy enough and in no time it was up and running, or rather, I was up and rowing! The rower is pretty quiet and there's no problem of disturbing the neighbours even though I've put it in my backyard under my pergola so I can exercise outdoors. As a beginner who didn't want to spend too much on my first buy, the Lifespan Rower 442 is certainly a value for money purchase and I hope to be looking fit and toned in no time!This is the first rowing machine that I've purchased.
