I love my George Foreman!
Positive *It has good even spread of heat on the plate. *There is plenty of range in the heat adjuster/ "temp. knob". *Very easy to clean. (top and bottom) *Compact and light - a good alternative Negative *Drip tray "flimsy and light" could get lost. if you could clip it on or slid it out would be better. *Angled plug - prefer it if it was straight.

It's not that great.
It takes a while for the unit to warm up to its Max output of 200 degrees C. Once it gets to its max, it shuts off and and doesn't maintain the temps. I can't confirm what temp it waits to go down to, but it's just a constant cycle of power on and power off. What would take 10 minutes on a normal stove can take upwards of an hour or two on this Griddle. The plastic shroud gets its fair share of heat and does begin to bend, but it appears to be stable for now. I don't trust the plastic to last very long. If you need something urgently in between using a stove or BBQ, this would be an OK alternative, but only for a little while. It won't cook thick meats like steak or burgers very well, but it's OK with thin meats like bacon and small fish or even finely diced meat.

Great fat free cooking
