Well worth watching.
This is one of Clint Eastwood's best movies; he portrays a grumpy old war veteran, Walter, who believes in old American values, & after the death of his wife, is confronted by the changing values of his neighbourhood. Being one of the few Anglo Americans remaining in what had become an enclave for Asian refugees and African Americans, Walter voices his blunt racist opinions at his neighbours and eventually gets to know them better. Walters prize possession is his Gran Torino motor car that he purchased while working on the factory assembly line, which attracts the attention of local Asian hoodlums.
