If all you want to do is sit around and shoot raptors with a variety of guns this is a great game to plug into the console. The graphics are good and the game play can get challenging.

The game is fun, at first, but the controls are very sensitive which makes it very hard, especially for younger players.

I really like the graphics in this game, the environments are detailed and help to build up the atmosphere. The dinosaurs look really good and this puts a good polish on this game. One area that suffers is the limited paths of the environment, its all VERY linear. You will NOT get lost. Took me about 6-7 hours of game play to wreck it, and I am not by any means a great FPS shooter. So it is definitely leaning on the easy side, though I did find myself in a few challenges that took a bit of time to complete. There are a few scenes in the adventure where you are holding down a fort, much like the nazi zombies in Call of Duty W.a.W. you must repair openings and fend off oncoming attacks. These scenes always got my heart pumping and proved to be the biggest challenge of the game. The story is goofy and its not very important, its there, but not overpowering or intrusive. The voice acting, especially by the main character is pretty bad. Its a cross between Christian Bale's batman --and your grandpa while hes taking a dump. Another complaint I have is the enemies get a little ridiculous. With so many species of dinosaurs to work from, did they really need to have giant scorpions as an enemy? Also there is a spitting dinosaur that spits lava/fire at you... which is....lame. If Jurassic: The Hunted is something you are considering buying, I wouldnt recommenced paying full price for this game (50-60$). I picked it up off eBay for 25$ and I think that's a fair price. Although this game lacks in a few areas, at its core its not too bad. Overall I enjoyed it. I have a soft spot for dinosaurs and with not much out there in the Jurassic genre, I am happy to have it my collection.Read full review
For the PS2 this game was amazing. On the PS3 it is good. Very much like an updated Turok this first person shooter throws you into a world where you must battle your way through very cool looking dinosaurs in the 1st person. I love the game. I own it on both the PS2 and PS3, and while the graphics are upgraded I still love my PS2 version just as much. Right now you can find this and other PS3 games from the early releases pretty darn cheap so if you missed this one and want to have some Dino killing fun then pick this one up.
Nice all around game. Dinosaurs fans will love it.
